Internationella Engelska Skolan (IES) is a leading independent school group ("friskola"), reaching academic results far above average. It was founded in 1993 by Ms Barbara Bergstrom, a science teacher originally from the US. Over 15 800 students are currently enrolled in our 22 schools around the country, mainly grades 4-9 in "Grundskolan". As a teacher at IES you will be a crucial part of your students’ future. You will be a mentor for 16 students, a role that means both supporting them in their academics as well as being the contact between the school and the family, including formal feedback four times a year.
